This site exists to show you what we make and to let you get in touch. It does not track you. Written in plain language rather than boilerplate — if anything here is unclear, email us and we will explain it.

This site is a marketing and enquiry site. We do not run accounts, logins, carts or payments on it, so the data we hold is limited to what you choose to send us.
Enquiry data. If you use the contact form, WhatsApp link or email us, we hold the name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your message. If you send a tech pack, artwork or specification, we hold those files as well for as long as the enquiry is live.
Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, browser and device type, requested page, and timestamp — for security and to diagnose faults.
To answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation, and progress sampling or production if that follows. If you have asked us to keep you on our capacity and catalogue updates, to send those.
Server logs are used only to keep the site available and to investigate abuse. We do not use them for marketing or profiling.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone, and we do not run advertising or behavioural tracking on this site.
Enquiry data is kept for two years from your last message, then deleted. If an enquiry becomes an order, records are kept for the period required by Bangladeshi tax and company law, which is longer.
Server logs are rotated after 30 days.
You can ask us to delete your enquiry data at any point and we will do so within 30 days, unless we are required to retain it.
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. We answer within 30 days and there is no charge unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
If you are in the EEA or UK and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
Because most buyers who contact us are outside the EEA and UK, we cannot offer the full GDPR regime to everyone — but we apply the same standard to all enquiries regardless of where you are.
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to enquiry records is limited to the RainbowTex staff who need it to do their job, and production systems are separated from public-facing ones.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. We do not ask for card details by email, and we will never ask for your banking password or a payment through chat.
This site is a business-to-business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
